Inaugural AMEAON Conference A Big Success

The American Muslim Elected and Appointed Officials Network held its inaugural 2023 Retreat and Convening in Chicago at the Chicago Public Radio WBEZ studios at Navy Pier. This was a historic event—the first retreat intentionally designed for American elected and appointed officials, and organization leaders. Speakers included Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, and many more. MBA Chicago was well represented, with attendees including MBA Chicago President Ali Alsarraf, and MBA Chicago Advisory Board Members Anthony Simpkins and Junaid Afeef.
