Fariz Burhanuddin is a trial lawyer and founder of Burhanuddin Law, where he represents founders, small and mid-sized businesses, and real estate principals in high-stakes disputes. Recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star for seven consecutive years, Fariz focuses on commercial litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, and complex commercial and residential real estate matters.

In addition to his practice, Fariz is an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he has taught since 2017 and previously coached the school’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy team. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Illinois State Bar Association, the South Asian Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association, and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, and serves on the Illinois State Bar Association’s Privacy & Information Security Council.
