Kinza khan has been an attorney for eight years working to advocate for low-income victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She has practiced in family law, immigration law, and civil rights cases. She was born and raised in Chicago, and is the daughter of immigrants. She also conducts informative presentations and workshops through Heart to Grow for South Asian and Muslim American communities.  Currently, Kinza is the Legal Counsel at Cook County Department of Human Rights and Ethics. She teaches legal writing at DePaul law as an Adjunct Professor on the side.
