CARPLS Legal Advice Hotline

CARPLS is Cook County’s legal aid hotline. It is staffed by lawyers who can give free legal advice by phone. If there is a legal aid or pro bono organization that might be able to offer more help, the CARPLS lawyers will tell you who else to call. Illinois Legal Aid Online

Illinois Legal Aid Online (ILAO) is a web-based resource for information about legal rights and responsibilities. The Justice Entrepreneurs Project

The Chicago Bar Foundation’s Justice Entrepreneurs Project (JEP) is a network of independent lawyers who are committed to making quality legal services accessible and affordable for regular people. Lawyers in the JEP offer fixed fees and flexible representation options to help accomplish this.
